Capturing Memories

So many things in every day life changed drastically during the pandemic. Some things are slowly going back to “normal” and some have gradually merged into a new “normal”.

For all of my children I had one year old birthday parties. We invited friends and family from near and far for a little celebration which normally included a delightful meal/ cookout, which the one year old couldn’t eat (haha), games and a cake smash! It was just what you did, back then.

Then the covid took away SO many of our old traditions, parties for all the milestones was something that didn’t happen during the pandemic. Sadly, for better or worse, it just wasn’t worth the risk at first, and then new parents started to wonder if it was worth the hassle of planning, ordering food, cleaning your home and all the other things that go into planning a party either. Let’s face it: the baby is one. He or She will have no recollection of this day.

EXCEPT THOUGH PHOTOS! The looking back, the cuteness of their little cheeks and sweet expressions: and their baby connection with you and your family/ friends IS WORTH CAPTURING. So event if you don’t “go big” hire a photographer to catch the memories of this milestone in your cuties life.

That’s where I come in!

Parties are back: I went to a couple of “My cutie is One!” Style parties this past summer and they were amazing!

Let’s think about memory and milestone preservation for a moment. Did you know I am bookable for your child’s milestone or party? I do a session inside your home (or any venue you would like to book): To capture the memories for you and your family: and even the kiddo during one! P.S. When you book a 90 Minute: “Newborn/ Milestone” Session: this is what you are getting! Newborn’s are super fun too: thats for a different blog though.

I now have a couple of studio spaces that I partner with that we can rent out of our time together as well: in you just want a small group of people there for your cuties unwrapping and cake smashing, and aren’t feeling an inhome shindig.

Let’s chat some more! I would love to capture the memories for you: so that you can relax and enjoy your day!
