Eli Style

I love showcasing a student’s favorite sport. You don’t need to wear your jerseys or be on your home field to pay homage to your passions with your senior session. During the planning parts prior to your session I will make sure you have all the “props” you need and even help you with planning your outfits down to your shoes if needed. Eli didn’t need any style help. He has a great natural since of fashion which is relaxed and totally put together.

I had the pleasure of working with Eli and his mom during the late summer of 2021. Eli is graduating this spring from Eden and busily planning his spring and next fall where he will be attending Asbury University (in Kentucky) and playing baseball for them.

I always have my favorites. This is actually one of my favorites of all time I have captured on the bridge.

Eli is polite, poised and laid back. He knows what he wants, and has an excellent scene of style. He was a joy to work with during what threatened to be maybe a rainy day. We somehow lucked out and there were only bursts of rain when we would get into the van to travel to the next little spot.

This is common with Pittsburgh during the summer and fall. I always keep to my schedule of only two senior sessions per week so that I can have plenty of time for make up “rain outs”. The grey/ overcast though makes for amazing light for me as a photographer and I actually prefer shooting when its grey that with a bright sunny day. So for this: we were set up for an amazing shoot.

Eli had opted for a “true sunset” and night style session. The photos on the bridge at sundown have some of the most amazing light I’ve been privileged to shoot in and I LOVE them all. His night and dusk session photos have had various senior social media accounts share and feature them! @seniorguysstyle @seniorsznmagazine and @senioryearmagizine have had him on their posts and stories! Clearly he made a great model!

One of the coolest things about Eli was he told his friends. It’s not an often known fact about photography: but nearly 100% of my business has come from word of mouth. Eli and his momma told so many of their friend’s about me: and I was able to happily shoot nearly their whole friend group! Every one of these gentlemen were so fun to work with. SO thank you so much Amanda and Eli for spreading the word ❤️ I am so grateful for clients that tell their friends.
