Family Portrait Sessions, for when the kids want to add the whole family!
Family portrait season is upon us! I offer a limited amount of on location sessions in the month of November. I have a full portrait studio in which I photograph families all year-round! Check out the samples below for this year's studio set ups. Holiday sets are available for Family and children Portrait sessions from November 3 until November 25.
Family session turn around will be one week or less. Families spend $275 to $550 for their session fee depending upon its location. Families are then given the opportunity to order prints and digitals à la cart, or purchase one of this years Family collections. Christmas card creators Will be available in every gallery, images can be used without purchase in making holiday cards through your gallery.
All image files will be returned fully watermarked. No image files are included with session fees.

I discovered Heidi's charming Sewickley Studio during the Sewickley Wine Walk earlier this fall. I immediately loved her energy and studio space, so I booked a session with her for some wacky family holiday photos. I'm so glad we chose Heidi! We wanted to do something a little nontraditional, kind of a rebellion against the modern family holiday card. We wore over the top outfits and brought our own props featuring ugly sweaters, a bathrobe, a bunny suit, Crocs, a giant martini glass, a leg lamp and a bottle of Fireball (lol). It was hilarious and fun and Heidi embraced our idea with open arms. She captured our vision so perfectly in her studio, delivered our photos to us SO FAST, and overall was a pleasure to work with.

We had an awesome experience working with Heidi on newborn photos. She was great with our young kids, and our photos turned out amazing even though our kids weren’t always cooperative! We had our photos done at the Sewickley studio, which was a nice neutral background for family shots. The only trouble I had was picking which photos to order since we had so many great ones!

I expertly take the emotion-filled very best photographs from your Family's photography session, and create custom artwork for your home! Every Session NOW INCLUDES a reveal session where I design a beautiful collection of products for your home.
Session Fees start at $275 for families and most an additional invest $750+ on Collections & image files. I take care in returning the best of the best so most galleries will hold 25-40 watermarked images in saturated color and in black and white.

A non-refundable retainer of $250 is taken at the time of booking. This fee goes towards your families session balance. If a conflict arrises this fee can be changed to another date or session type during the same year.
is there a deposit to book a session?

I do not offer mini sessions. My average family session in the studio last around 35 minutes. These can be booked in short blocks of 20 minutes. 20 minute studio sessions, or short blocks $250. These short block sessions receive all the perks of full sessions, and as stated before & include watermarked images.
