When it comes to senior photos on the bridges of Pittsburgh, PA, nothing feels more 100% Pittsburgh! The city skyline from Pittsburgh North Shore Park is equally as iconic. I had a great time photographing Meredith. She is a student at Quaker Valley High School. This was one of my first senior sessions at the bridges in July! We captured this portion of her senior shoot during a moody sunset session. Meredith images turned out dynamic and a little dramatic and I absolutely love them!
The day itself was cloudy, giving us soft, even light as the sun dipped behind the skyline. By dusk, the bridges glowed against the darker tones of the evening, creating a dramatic and unforgettable backdrop. I don’t always get to photograph girls students on the bridge so it’s a treat every single time! We had a super fun evening!
Hair & Prep Before the Session
Before I took Meredith and her mom downtown, she had her hair styled by ShelbyLee of Shear Metal Beauty. Shelby came to Meredith’s home to style and get her hair flawless. Even with the humid, breezy weather on the bridge, Meredith’s hair held its shape beautifully. If you’re working with me for senior photos, I always recommend investing in professional hair and makeup. It’s one less thing to worry about. It takes the stress out of your day. You feel pampered and beautiful!
