Are you more than one person? Is there some love? If the answer to both of these questions is yes, you’re most likely considered a “family.” Family Sessions are 30-45 minutes long & include hand edited photographs. You are free to add your “fur babies” to your family session! Newborn and Milestone sessions are 60 minute long and are often done inside your house or inside the Pittsburgh Studio. Your digital gallery will include lots of documentary and lifestyle images that showcase your families connection and love. I also include detail photos and a few “smile and look” for grandma shots. Sessions do not include digital photos. Digital and print packages can be purchased at the time of booking or after your session.

I discovered Heidi's charming Sewickley Studio during the Sewickley Wine Walk earlier this fall. I immediately loved her energy and studio space, so I booked a session with her for some wacky family holiday photos. I'm so glad we chose Heidi! We wanted to do something a little nontraditional, kind of a rebellion against the modern family holiday card. We wore over the top outfits and brought our own props featuring ugly sweaters, a bathrobe, a bunny suit, Crocs, a giant martini glass, a leg lamp and a bottle of Fireball (lol). It was hilarious and fun and Heidi embraced our idea with open arms. She captured our vision so perfectly in her studio, delivered our photos to us SO FAST, and overall was a pleasure to work with.

We had an awesome experience working with Heidi on newborn photos. She was great with our young kids, and our photos turned out amazing even though our kids weren’t always cooperative! We had our photos done at the Sewickley studio, which was a nice neutral background for family shots. The only trouble I had was picking which photos to order since we had so many great ones!

The average family spends around $1100 on their session, prints and digital files. All the digital files can be purchased from a family gallery for $750. All presented digital files have been hand edited and retouched for distractions. I take care in returning the best of the best so most galleries will hold 25-40 images in saturated color and in black and white.

Shooting retainers are a $250 deposit taken at the time of booking.

I call them “Short Sessions!” will happen several times per year. This is a great way to get to know me, get a beautiful portrait for your wall or Holiday cards, and try out some of the unique locations around our beautiful city!
